DIPLODOCUS
The Diplodocus was a very large, long-necked, quadrupedal animal, with a long, whip-like tail. They were estimated to be the size of four mature elephants. The Diplodocus stripped branches with one row of teeth stabilizing and guiding as the other stripped stem foliage. It could also feed well on ground vegetation. The Diplodocus lived towards the end of the Jurassic period (154-152 million years ago) in a semi-arid area. The most famous one was probably "Dippy" at the Natural History Museum in London, United Kingdom.
