DONKEY
The donkey is a domesticated animal in the horse family and has been used as a working animal for more than 5,000 years. Size varies considerably from 90 cm tall to around 150 cm, they can live up to 50 years. In their native arid and semi arid climates, donkeys would spend a large part of their day foraging and feeding on scrub land. Domesticated donkeys are typically fed straw, hay and grains.
They are to be found worldwide.
